Sono pics from yesterday

Dr. G checked on the baby yesterday - it's bigger now - about the size of a lime and you can see little arms. It reminds me of a little penguin flapping. :) Dr. G said the heart is stronger now and everything looks perfect. The babys heartbeat was a strong 184 bpm.

I also bought a few maternity items yesterday due to the now noticiable little bump I have. :) (The Dr. says it's totally normal to show earlier when you have had previous pregnancies - so I guess that just means my body quickly shifted to full on pregnancy mode, lol. Eric will take a pic of the baby bump soon and I'll post it here) I went to Pickles & Ice Cream boutique in Plano, I LOVE that store! I ended up with a great little black dress (I already wore it to Junior League last night), a maternity support tank in black and some great khacki shorts.

Some Sono Pics from last Weds...

Last weeks - the main thing we noticed was that the baby looks much bigger. :)

1st big sono - heartbeat/ 1st pics!!! :)

Well, we were supposed to wait until next Tuesday for this appointment, but I wanted to talk to my Dr. about stress/ high blood pressure from over working and get an opinion on either cutting back hours or quitting. They checked me out and said everything was fine - but told me I should cut working to p/t - so 4 hours/day max and then we went back for our 1st big sonogram. Eric and I were so nervous - we knew that if all was well we should get to see the heartbeat and get our 1st pics today. BTW - Due date is now 10/28/09! YAY!

She (Dr.G was out of town) 1st did a physical exam (that it seemed we waited FOREVER for, lol) and said the lining was strong and then she sent us over to the sono technician. She checked the lining too and my ovaries - and said that cyst on the left ovary seems to be cleaing up on its own, etc... and then we saw it...our little baby! :) You could actually see the shape of its little head and body. :) I was so excited and before I knew it she found the heartbeat it was actually flickering!!! She let us listen to it 3 seperate times - 1 extra bc Eric was getting such a kick out of it! :) It was so fast and strong sounding! It sounded like a big horse galloping. I think she said it was 174 bpm. The sono tech said it was strong and then the Dr. said it was a very pretty heartbeat and that everything looks perfect. We were both just too excited for words! Here are the 1st pic of our little baby...

BTW...Cravings started recently - nothing strange so far, just lots of fruit and juice. :)

Our little pumpkin is due in October...

2nd Appointment! :)

Today was my 2nd appointment. My Dr. fit me in this afternoon due to some slight spotting and cramping. I was honestly getting nervous that I'd hear "ectopic" again, but he put me straight in with the sonographer and we saw the gestational sac in the uterus. The Dr. and Sono tech said that's where the baby is and I'm right on schedule.

We also found out my due date: November 2, 2009.

The symptoms we were worried about were actually due to normal pregnancy and a cyst on my left ovary that's also normal. :)

I go back in 3 weeks for my 1st real sono appointment. Eric will go with me to this one. At this one we should see the heart beat, baby and get a picture to take home. I cannot wait! :) Look for an update then!
