Anxiously awaiting our big U/S next Tuesday...
17 weeks...
&16 weeks...
It feels a lot bigger. I actually have a bump now and strangers can tell I'm pregnant, so that's weird.I cannot wait to find out the sex and shop and start decorating. If it's a girl I'm getting this to go in the dormer window in the nursery, if it's a boy I still may get a blue and white one. :)
And this is my favorite style stroller, I can't wait for walks around our pond. We're so lucky to live in a neighborhood that has it's own duck ponds. :) I love the bassinet option on these strollers. It's the same stroller - it just is a bassinet for an infant and an upright stroller for a child up to 40 lbs.

These are some cribs I really love...

I wish I could update with more...
Week 15 Updates -
Sorry I haven't posted in a while - I wish I knew more - my last appointment was around 12 weeks and everything looked totally normal. :)
(The info below is from one of the pregnancy sites I frequent)
The orange just blows me away, LOL.
Fetal Development:
If you have an ultrasound now, you may notice your baby sucking his/her thumb. The bones are getting harder each day. The baby's skin is very thin and transparent; you can see blood vessels through the skin. Lanugo, a very fine hair, covers the body and will continue growing on the baby until around the 26th gestational week of pregnancy.
Maternal Changes:
Your uterus will begin rising past your hipbones any time now. You can feel it about three to four inches below your navel. During your appointments, your care provider will be measuring "fundal height" to make sure your baby is growing consistently and adequately. Fundal height is the distance from the top of the uterus (fundus) to the pubic bone.
Boy or Girl?
If you have an ultrasound in the next few weeks, the technician may be able to make an "educated guess" at the gender of your baby. (Keep in mind, gender determination via ultrasound is not 100% reliable and is only as good as the person doing the scan.) If you have an amniocentesis, gender can be reliably determined via the chromosomes. Neither of these tests are performed (or should be performed) just to find out the baby's sex.
If your care provider recommends these tests for various reasons, ask yourself if you really want to know your baby's gender. The majority of parents nowadays do want to know, but if you love a special surprise, it's perfectly okay to tell the tech/care provider that you do NOT want to know the gender.
Ideas for Dad:
Make sure you hug mom often. Research tells us that the more hugs mom gets, the more she'll hug the baby (and you too)!
Inspirational Thoughts:
A baby is someone just the size of a hug. ~Anonymous
I can't wait till I have a new pic to post or something. Luckily the thing that's keeping me from losing my mind in all of the anticipation is my doppler heartrate monitor. I listen to the baby every morning when I wake up and some nights if I'm feeling anxious. It's so sweet - it's like the baby gets to say - "hey mama - I'm still here and I'm fine!" I LOVE it and don't know what I'd do without it.
For my PG buddies - here's a link to the one we have...

I wish I could say what the sex is, but I am stuck waiting for my 20 week appointment! Ugh - I'll be 15 weeks on Wednesday. I am sooo ready for an update...

So any guesses? I'm thinking boy, Eric says girl b/c his brother has 2, lol - what do you think?

Sono pics from yesterday

This is my favorite pic so far. :)
I also bought a few maternity items yesterday due to the now noticiable little bump I have. :) (The Dr. says it's totally normal to show earlier when you have had previous pregnancies - so I guess that just means my body quickly shifted to full on pregnancy mode, lol. Eric will take a pic of the baby bump soon and I'll post it here) I went to Pickles & Ice Cream boutique in Plano, I LOVE that store! I ended up with a great little black dress (I already wore it to Junior League last night), a maternity support tank in black and some great khacki shorts.
